Caroline Elliotte

Former undergraduate student, lab tech and buccaneer

Caroline grew up in Davidson, North Carolina and graduated high school from Davidson Day School in 2018. She is currently majoring in Microbiology with a concentration in Microbial Health Science and a double minor in Entomology and Forensic Science.

She first became interested in research at a summer program at Emory University where she worked in a lab that studied influenza. She is fascinated by insects and other arthropods. In the Mikaelyan lab, she explored how the microbiome affects the cockroach host.
